US Lacrosse will host a girl's lacrosse festival, the Cup of Nations, in conjunction with the World Cup in Annapolis. This tournament will be held from June 29 through July 2, 2005, and will celebrate international play, giving youth teams from all over the world an opportunity to be a part of the World Cup experience. Team Connecticut will participate in this lacrosse festival.

This four-day festival will provide participants with a unique, action-packed playing experience and at the same time exposure to the most elite level of women's lacrosse. This is a round robin festival and no winner will be declared. Each team will play a minimum of 5, one-hour games. Pending international participation and interest, This festival will celebrate the sport of women's lacrosse with out the pressures involved with a recruiting event.
